Signing in
Brief uses your Google or Microsoft account for sign-in. You do not have a separate Brief password.
- Go to app.trybrief.ai.
- Choose Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft.
- Approve the requested permissions when prompted.
What happens on first sign-in
After you authorize Brief, the system begins an initial sync of the data sources you connect. The first full sync typically takes a few hours, depending on the volume of historical email, calendar, and message content.
Your first daily briefing
Your first daily briefing is generated once your connected sources finish their initial sync. You can also generate one on demand from the dashboard. The default delivery time is 6:00 AM local time. You can change it under Settings → Preferences.
Inviting teammates
Design partners can invite colleagues using the Settings → Invitations page. Each design partner account includes a quota of invitations. Invited teammates sign in the same way you do, through Google or Microsoft OAuth, and they get their own private Brief account.
When more than one person on your team is using Brief, briefings can reflect shared context for meetings you both attend. Each person's underlying data remains isolated from the other. Shared context is built only from the artifacts each user already has access to in their own source systems.
